Our organic high grade matcha is suitable for drinking and for culinary use. Its fine dark green powder produces a fresh and grassy flavour.

Though famous as being the tea of the traditional Japanese tea ceremony, Matcha has quickly become a favourite among both the health conscious and the more traditional tea lover alike.

Containing 15 x more antioxidants than a serving of regular green tea, it is considered the healthiest tea as you ingest the whole leaf and not just the liquor. Super detoxifying and naturally energising, Matcha is the perfect drink to rejuvenate your body and mind!

PREPARATION

To brew, scoop 1/4 teaspoon of matcha into a small cup or tea bowl, fill 1/3 of the way with freshly boiled water that has been allowed to cool for 2 minutes. Using a bamboo whisk or frother, mix until a light froth appears. Top up with water to fill cup. For culinary use, follow recipe guidelines.
